Citrus Aurantium Extract is produced from the Citrus Aurantium L tree. Synephrine is the main active compound found in the fruit of Citrus aurantium, is similar to epinephrine in its chemical structure, as it stimulates the nervous system, and is used to decrease appetite which is the reason citrus aurantium has been used in weight loss products after Ephedra was taken off the market. Citrus aurantium is used in herbal medicines and can be used in supplements as a general digestive tonic and can be prescribed for indigestion, constipation, low stomach acid, nausea, flatulence and stomach cramps.
